The proposed Lutterworth East development includes provision of a spine road and closure of the current Gilmorton Road in Lutterworth to general traffic. We note the mention of Traffic Calming measures being required in Gilmorton and we would like to understand a.) what is behind this comment / proposed measure and b.) whether we will be consulted on the type and location of such measures. Our concern is that Gilmorton will increasingly become a 'rat run' for traffic heading for the southern outskirts of Leicester.
