Fully interconnected North East bypass is required to meet needs of the people and business if all the current plans in and around Lutterworth are to be granted.

I Object to the current plans for road infrastructure to serve this and other developments in and around Lutterworth. If these developments are to go ahead we need an proper North East dual carriageway bypass for Lutterworth from M1 J19, new fully interconnected motorway junction to the north, continuing to the A426 Leicester Rd, continuing to join the A5.

The smaller spine rd serving Lutt East would be a pleasant location for the development and enabling HGV's to be banned from Lutterworth High St, Making it a pleasant place to be again and allowing it to flourish with new business for the benefit of both communities.

Please do not miss this opportunity of a life time to make Lutterworth a great place to live in again by penny pinching on the required infrastructure.

Phil Ashton

If the massive plans to expand Magna Park were to be approved by HDC, the increased volume of traffic in and around the Lutterworth area would change beyond recognition.

Building a large number of houses in East Lutterworth can only add to the traffic congestion, increase road traffic accidents and produce even more contaminated air for us (and any new residents in East Lutterworth) to breathe.

Representation Summary:

The proposed Lutterworth East development includes provision of a spine road and closure of the current Gilmorton Road in Lutterworth to general traffic. We note the mention of Traffic Calming measures being required in Gilmorton and we would like to understand a.) what is behind this comment / proposed measure and b.) whether we will be consulted on the type and location of such measures. Our concern is that Gilmorton will increasingly become a 'rat run' for traffic heading for the southern outskirts of Leicester.
