We strongly support maintaining, and where possible improving, the vitality and viability of the service centres in the District, so reducing the need to travel, while preserving, and where possible enhancing, the predominantly rural character of the District;
sustaining the strength of town centres against the threat of 'leakage' to other centres and use of on-line shopping, realising rural vitality and making appropriate retail provision in Market Harborough, the Key Centres and local centres.
