The site plan should be drawn at an identified standard metric scale (eg 1:500 or 1:200). It should accurately show: the direction of north; the proposed development in relation to the site boundaries and other existing buildings on site. Car parking arrangements to be shown. Plans to have written dimensions including those to the boundaries.

All plans to be drawn at a minimum scale of 1:50, or 1:100. Plans should be proportionate to the nature and size of the proposal, titled and numbered identifying revisions, and annotated with dimensions and scale bar.

Plans and drawings – detail

Roof extensions, dormer windows and window and door replacement

  • Submit elevations of the whole property, not just the roof and upper floor(s)
  • Submit existing and proposed sections through the roof
