Representation ID: 6821
Received: 16/11/2017
Respondent: Environment Agency
We support 10.5.7, but suggest after the wording, "..The FRA should also consider the future risk by including the climate change projections" the following wording is added "...as detailed in 'Flood Risk Assessments: Climate Change Allowances (Environment Agency, 19th Feb, 2017)". An alternative would be to add this publication as a piece of evidence under Table B.37 Supporting Information: Policy CC3.

Whilst we support CC3 Explanation we would like to point out that (10.5.4) "LLFAs are statutory consultees to any schemes that may impact on flood risk," will not necessarily true in every case since the LLFA may not be consulted on Minor developments in Flood Zones 3 and 2.
