Full text:

My property suffers from surface water run off from this site since it was built. The problem arising from the ditch mainly running from north to south and the meeting of the watercourse that runs alongside my property. This has never been resolved by the developers and flooding occurs every year. It sits in a high risk area (Environment Agency) and flooding also occurs on Kingston Way through the outfall of the watercourse in periods of prolonged rainfall. As a riparian owner of the watercourse we have the right to receive surface water in its natural quantity and quality. The increase in hard standing will exacerbate this issue increasing the flow of the run off, in particular the hard surface that runs alongside the existing ditch (North to South). Will there be guarantees that the SuDS management will be designed correctly and that overflows will not happen. As this is the only way of discharging surface water drainage, will the riparian owners be consulted as to how the system will work and consents obtained given that the quality of the water from the site could be contaminated from the residents living there.
