Also. there seems to be no mention of the history of the proposed building area having been the site of a Second World War prisoner camp and a muster area for the preparation of D Day Normandy Landings. The resulting archaeological earthworks of this area have created an uneven ground surface of hollows and small mounds which provides habitat for a variety of existing flora and fauna..
