It would be impossible to make Keyham Lane West into a through road. there are houses and three schools all along it with road side parking. ti is already very difficult to drive up there. it would be so unfair on the people living on that street. Netherhall will become a rat-run and this is a family estate with lots of children on it - it has in total six schools I believe. It is completely unfair on the residents there and Leicester City Council Should be thinking about them before it sells off land that is also a resource to the people there. New Romney Crescent and is already a nightmare and it will be terrible for fumes with traffic at a standstill and trying to move around each other.
Scraptoft will also become congested. It already has problems with traffic in the village and on Station Lane.
