Magna park expansion, as there are two outstanding planning applications for warehousing in this area , I feel this is an opportunist proposal which does not meet the needs for employment in this district as unemployment is already low. Reports from the LLEP SDSS 2017 indicate that there is less demand for non - rail warehousing in this area, this should be allocated across Leicestershire. The addition of upto 10,000 jobs coming at a time of low unemployment in this area means most of the workers would be drawn from outside Harborough leading to increased traffic both from commuting and HGVS leading to future over crowding on unsuitable road structures. The plan does not give thought to local green space between ullesthorpe and Cotesbach.
