Would this be a new practice or would nearby GP practices be expected to staff it, if so have they been consulted. There is a significant shortage of GPs with many existing practices closing. with 1200 houses you could be looking at up to 5000 new residents needing to register. At present there is no GP in Scraptoft that is within walking distance or on a bus route.
