This is long overdue. Currently i understand that residents have to go to Billesdon to the doctor's surgery. We have already had over 700 houses built with no medical provisions put in place. Whilst i object to another 1200 houses being built it is obvious that a doctor's surgery is built in the area to cater for the increased population. It is very easy to say that a new surgery will be built but it will also require GP's, and practice nurses to work in it. There is a grave shortage of GP's at present so it could well prove to be a major problem providing the level of health care required
