Representation Summary:

I cannot see how any extra traffic can be accommodated in a satisfactory manor with the exit roads we have at present without causing considerable congestion, delays and ultimately danger to the residents of Scraptoft.

Full text:

none of the roads local to Scraptoft are capable of taking the extra traffic associated with 1200 new houses. Keyham lane has only just been marginally widened and is a 20mph hour zone with two schools and excessive traffic calming measures. This in turn leads to an already congested roundabout onto the inner ring road. Extra traffic along Hamilton Lane into Scraptoft will further congest the centre of Scraptoft around the one way system which can already tail back along Hamilton lane at peak times. Traffic exiting onto the Beeby road will also converge on Scraptoft village centre with the same effect and eventually hit the Station lane junction already running at 85% and causing major tail backs at peak times even now. Any traffic leaving via Scraptoft lane will eventually meet a restriction at the junction with the Uppingham road.
