The development would adversely affect highway safety or the convenience of road users particularly at the junction between Alvington Way and Bates Close which is already an area of congestion at busy times of the day. Further Kingston Way is inaccessible in times of inclement weather when there is more than 1" inch of snowfall that accumulates on the road surface, given the increase in traffic hesitated by have this as the only access and egress can only exacerbate this situation.
