Harborough Local Plan 2011-2031, Proposed Submission

Representation ID: 5664

Received: 01/11/2017

Respondent: Mrs N Stanley

Representation Summary:

The trees and hedgerow in and around the site should be retained to protect the wildlife in around the area. With the planting of the tree line, this has made this a additional wildlife corridor. The tree line has a small area of scrub around the edge and this should also be retained. A full ecological survey should be carried out as many species use this area especially in relation to its location to the Grand Union Canel which itself is a conservation area. Protected species have been seen on this site.
