Regulation 19 - Proposed Draft Local Plan Submission

Our Local Plan Vision

Representation ID: 12840

Received: 01/05/2025

Respondent: Fleckney Parish Council

Legally compliant? No

Sound? No

Duty to co-operate? No

Representation Summary:

I strongly object as Fleckney has been identified as a major village, however its roads and other infrastructure are clearly that of a very small village. There are no major roads within 1 mile of its borders and the centre of the village was built in the late 1800s. Its pavements, highways and parking facilities are not commensurate with a large village. There will be a fatal accident in the centre of provision is not made to improve our highways.

Change suggested by respondent:

Fleckney needs to be designated as a small village or major infrastructure improvements need to be made before any further development is passed
