GD8. 1i
Burnmill Farm proposed development. The proposal DOES NOT protect and enhance the existing landscape features and natural assets (including trees).
The area in question is distinctive for its row of attractive trees near the top of the ridge; which are seen, recognised and admired from a significant distance.
Any development of housing will disrupt the appearance of the distinctive trees, even when sited behind the trees. The landscape will subsequently be materially worsened, which is unacceptable.

Whilst it is appreciated that the trees were previously planted to enable a future development, it is an unavoidable, important (and ironic) fact that the proposed development detracts from the trees, as a distinctive & loved part of the local landscape.
