It is not absolutely clear whether objections raised at the planning application stage will be automatically forward to the appointed Inspector or not.
This point should be clarified.

Representation ID: 67

Received: 14/11/2014

Respondent: KIBWORTH BEAUCHAMP Parish Council

Representation Summary:

Documents sent to the Planning Inspectorate are not available online in my experience. I appreciate that this is not a HDC policy, but representation could be made to the Planning Inspectorate to make documents as easily available as they are now by planning authorities.

If publicity is only via the website those who do not have internet access will have no knowledge of the result and those who do will have to search for results - I would have expected parish Council to be informed.

Consultation draft Statement of Community Involvement

Representation ID: 163

Received: 21/11/2014

Respondent: EAST LANGTON and CHURCH LANGTON Parish Council

Representation Summary:

I find it extremely concerning that in a recent Appeal submitted to the Planning Inspector the decision of 9 elected councillors on the Planning Committee was overturned. The Inspector, by his decision, appears to feel the considerations of so many of the Committee were not adhering to their role in "ensuring that the right type, mix and design of development is provided on suitable sites" as set out in 1.1 of this document. I should be grateful for your comment and advice on how this issue may be addressed further.
